The 2019 Asia Content & Entertainment Fair or ACE Fair in Gwangju, the largest culture contents fair in the nation, started its 4-day run today at the Kim Dae Jung Convention Center. The event is organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism as well as Gwangju City.
The organizers invited more than 400 enterprises from 32 countries to attend the exhibition, consultation and academic events which will feature numerous national and international companies in the fields of broadcasting, audiovisual contents, games and animation.
Around 200 Korean cultural contents companies that deal with broadcasting and video will be displaying their latest technologies. Major Korean TV channels like MBC+ Media and CJ E&M will exhibit their latest broadcasting contents made with UHD and VR.
Various local Virtual Reality development related enterprises will run their advertisement booths at the fair as well, showcasing their recent VR based games and contents.The fair is known for being a great opportunity for visitors to feel the ever-changing cultural contents convergence technology and see the market trends of the culture industry in the future. The organizing committee hopes to see more companies attract investment and enter the global market.
