Halloween falls on a Thursday this year, so most of the big celebrations are being held this weekend in Gwangju. First, we start off at Loft 28 with their festivities. They will have costume, and dance contests, as well as your favorite tunes provided by the house DJs. The fun will begin at 11:00 p.m., and if you need any more details, please go to their Facebook page. Speakeasy is known for some great parties. Their St. Patrick’s Day celebration is the best in town. New Year’s of course is a rocking fiesta. But, the one that probably put them on the map is their huge, Halloween blow out. This year will be no different. Live music will be provided by hometown faves Malarkey. Scary good drink specials will include jello shots, and much, much more. Halloween costume contest? Of course! Am I forgetting anything? Oh yes, how about free Halloween candy for all! It’s one of their biggest bashes of the year, and it’s happening this Saturday. It will all kick off at 9:00 p.m., with Malarkey taking stage around 10:30 p.m. For all the complete details, please go to their Facebook page. Plus, all of you rugby fans out there, they will be playing the New Zealand/England semi final on Saturday as well.
