We’ve already reached the midway point of the month. Let’s see what there is to do in our city this weekend.
Thursday, November 14th
A terrific way to start the weekend, and have a lot of fun doing it, is to take part in trivia night at Speakeasy! It’s going to be a great night of questions, and answers, with topics ranging from current events, to films, and music. Just get a team together of up to 5 people to participate. Don’t have a team? That’s not a problem! You can find one to join when you arrive. It only costs 5,000 won to play, and you have a chance to win cash, and prizes. The second place team will get their money back, and first place will win the rest of the pot. Nate will be your quiz master, so come out and put some of that trivial knowledge you have to good use. Trivia begins at 10:00 p.m., and if you need more information, please go to Speakeasy’s Facebook page.
Friday, November 15th
If you weren’t able to go and check out the Gwangju Toastmasters meeting last Friday night don’t worry because there is another chance tonight! The Gwangju Toastmasters will be having their second meeting at the GIC. It will begin at 7:30 p.m., and go for about an hour. Cocktail specials for the ladies will run from 3,000 won, to 5,000 won all night.
