The 11th International Green Car Korea kicked off Thursday at the Kimdaejung Convention Center in Gwangju. The showcase will last for three days exhibiting various eco-friendly automobiles and green cars produced domestically and internationally.
Korea’s largest green car exhibition, the Green Car Korea is hosted by the city of Gwangju and is jointly organized by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups of Gwangju and Jeonnam and the Gwangju Green Car Auto Parts Promotion Foundation.
Some 250 automobile producing companies from 25 countries, such as Germany, Sweden, China and Japan, will partake and various eco-friendly cars ranging from electric and hydrogen fuel types and self driving vehicles will be displayed.
This annual event is the only domestic exhibition that received the international certification from The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry.
In addition, counseling sessions targeting domestic and international buyers wishing to export auto parts for eco-friendly cars will be held throughout the fair.
