Zumba returns to the GIC tonight after taking a week off. You should know what Zumba is all about by now, but I’m going to remind you because that’s my job! Zuma is an energetic cardio class that is open to any level. It’s a fun way to exercise, and it’s also a healthy start to your weekend.  Zumba takes place starting at 7:00 p.m., and the class is led by certified instructor Thando Mlambo. If you need more information, then please go to their Facebook page.

This Saturday is the last GIC talk for the month of March. For many in Gwangju, it will be a very important subject. Wilson Melbostad, an immigration rights lawyer here in Korea, will be giving an introductory lecture on refugee law in the country. It’s a complex subject, and the speaker will try to explain the refugee system here in Korea. The talk will begin at 4:00 p.m., and it will last for about an hour. There is no charge for the lecture series. If you need more information, then you can go to the GIC’s own website, or you can also check out their Facebook page.
